New project – new blog!

So… If you were wondering if I stopped creating things all together I’ll tell you how the story goes…
   The thing is, I started to create so much that I just didn’t have time to keep up the blog! XD No, really!!! So if you want to keep up with what I’m doing – just keep track of my deviantART galleries! ;P

I have started a new and even more specific blog though! And this is a project that will have an end to it so I hope it’ll be easier to keep that one updated! XD
   I’m making a whole 18th century outfit!

I created this blog simply to document the process of my making a whole 18th century outfit – complete with stays, pocket hoops, petticoat, stomacher and stuff. I have the ambition to do at least 80-90% by hand and in as time typical materials as possible.
   I might also feuture tips, tricks, how-to’s and other related things I’ve found in my search for inspiration.

I’ve been scrobbling last.fm for a few days now an I thought, since there’s a formidable widget to put in blogs and stuff, that I should put one up here. I thought it might be interesting to see what I listen to when I create So I designed one of my own to match the design of this blog.

welcome magnolia welcome spring

Okay, the magnolia blossoms have bloomed over long time ago, but I still love them!
   This I made today when I came home from a window-shopping-spree with a good friend. We had been browsing interior design stores and were talking about how we would decorate different rooms – we discovered that we both wanted a dressing room in a theme with dark wood and brown and pink colors. I have allways wanted a wallpaper with huge magnolias and maybe details with cherry blossoms.
   So when I came home I got the inspiration to make something with magnolias, hehe… ^-^

gasmasks – one of my biggest inspirations taken to another level

DVICE is a blog powered by SciFi that gives us updates and news from the vast world of future tech and design. While browsing through the latest news my eyes just froze upon a picture. It an article about a project by designer Diddo Velema, a gasmask project! Just have a look at these honies:

It didn’t say much in the article, but after a little research I found this little site: designergasmasks.com. Some really exciting and inspirational stuff indeed! ;D
