new designs

I’ve been working on som even newer designs these past few days and yesterday I posted a few photos on dA. And since then I’ve made even more new designs, gotten an order for a custom-choker, an order for a tattoo design, a probable order for a tattoo design and a probable query for a homepage banner.
   Anyways – here’s some of my new jewellry designs:

I feel I should say something about the “Sunset at Evening Beach” necklace. It’s kind of a re-make of an older design – Candy wrapped neck. I was never totally pleased with it, but with time comes inspiration and now I think it’s done!
   When I was finished I realized that it remined me of a beach with sand, rocks and candywrappers, and the colors reminded me of a sunset. And I guess the drop can represent the ocean. Hence the name…
   It’s kind of an artwork more than a wearable necklace though, hehe. It’s up for sale people, so if you like it – please do not hesitate to ask me about the pissibilities of buying it, I haven’t set a price yet, so… Hehe…

I’m working my ass off with the upcoming homepage for my jewellry, but I’ve got so much stuff and there’s so much to have in mind – I hope it will be up in the beginning of June though! I’ll keep you updated!

jewellry explosion

I still haven’t gotten a job for the summer! *pull hair* So to be on the safe side i started taking up my jewellry making after a few months of draught on that front – to have a backup for an income during the summer. I don’t expect to be able to make a living on it, but I have money saved up so the money I might get by selling jewelly are just so I can feel totally safe, hehe…
   Anywho – I’ve been submitting some newer and older designs in my jewellry gallery on dA. These pictures below are two of my new designs.

end-of-semester-stress

In Swedish semester means holiday/vacation and in English it’s a schoolterm. It’s the English meaning I’m referring to here. I’m looking forward to haveing a little bit of vacation soon. School is crazy at the end of every term – and that’s why I haven’t been writing for a while. I have been creating though! ;P
   As I mentioned before it’s been a month full of celebrations and I have one more home made card to show you!

This is the birthday card I made for a little guy called Sebastian who turned 1 year in the beginning of May.
It plainly says “1 year”.

This is not all I’ve been doing though! I haven’t had time to to as much as I have wanted. But I have managed to make the four last images for the ceramic project with Ulrika. *Yay* I have also managed to promise a friend to attend a LARP night this summer and make the clothes needed for him – as I at the same time got the inspiration for a new outfit for myself (I already had a great few). I thought it best to start right away with my own outfit since it would probably take much longer – since it’s a kind of corset I’m making… XD

This is a pattern for a Elizabethan corset that I’m modifying to look more Rococo/Baroque. I got the basic pattern at a most formidable site called Elizabethan Costuming Page. I have made a corset almost like the one I’m making now loooong time ago, and it looks something like this:

5 photos – check

Yesterday I managed to finish 5 images for Ulrika to use in the ceramic project! *yay* And today I got paid for them! *more yay*
   I took loads and loads of photos which means that there’s loads and loads minus 5 photos left over, hehe. I chose to give you a preview! Which actually doesn’t really count as a preview cuz it’s not even close to what the 5 chosen ones look like – it’s just me fooling around, hehe… XD It’s sooo not me – but it’s fun fooling around, haha!

mosh plus one

Today I worked on the ceramic project, I took some new photos which I believe Ulrika will be able to use, hehe ^^; It’s hard coming up with themes though! :/
   I’ve also dome some manipulating (when I should have been studying). I hadn’t checked my deviations watch for a while and was I in for a suprise! Marcus J. Ranum behind mjranum-stock had updated his stock gallery with some awesome latex shots of my all time favourite model Mosh (www.themoshroom.com). I felt compelled to use one! And this is what came out:

first paid collab a bumpy road

When I joined deviantART I got to know a fellow Swede named Ulrika, the thing I found most interesting about her in the beginning was that she lived and had made a life for herself in England. As time went by I learned that she also was a great artist. I watched her deviations and was amazed every time she submitted new work. She has specialized in sculptures of all kinds – everything from plastic to ceramic! Here’s two lamps in an UV plastic material that I really really would like to own myself.

But to the point!
   A few weeks ago she contacted me with a request – she wanted to do a collaboration work with me for her 3D Design Designer Maker degree. She wanted me to make some images (photos and photomanipulations) to incorporate in sculprures. I was very excited about it right from the beginning and said yes to the proposal! Little did I know what a thing like this would demand out of me. And I think she was as suprised as me over the bumpy road we found ourselves on.
   It started out great and we were both sooo excited about the collaboration. She gave me some instructions as to the theme and style of what she wanted. And I interpreted that after my own mind and propably to what I wanted to make. I think I got out of line though and thought of every image as it’s own artwork of it’s own – since that’s what I always do when I create something, hehe. ^^;
   Turns out that they weren’t really what she had in mind. I guess we were both to blame, hehe. Maybe she gave some vague instructions and maybe I interpreted them in a way that wasn’t in line with what she had in mind. Anywhooo! These coming days I’ll be working to make some new images (I have until mid-next-week). I am still excited about the collaboration – even if it has turned out to be more work than pleasure, hehe. ^^;
   I might be posting some of the images that she couldn’t use on dA and I’ll give you a preview here too! ;D
